Ship agency software
One file per call, a foreign-currency account for the principal, and bilingual documents — Rotenta's ship agency line.
Ship agency software keeps everything about one port call in a single record: from the moment the agent is nominated to the vessel’s departure, the call file, the statutory notifications, the costs and the correspondence with the principal all stay attached to that one file. In Rotenta, this file runs on the same core as the customer ledger, PDF output and statutory notification adaptors — no separate spreadsheet, no separate accounting package.
One file, from call to close
Every port call is its own file: nomination, ETA, port formalities, the arrival clearance and departure clearance process, and the close — all recorded against the same file. Once a call file is closed it becomes unchangeable, so the final account sent to the owner and the agent’s own copy always show the same numbers. That protects the agent both in an audit and in a dispute with the principal.
A foreign-currency account for the principal
A port agent’s own costs are usually in EUR or USD, and the account sent to the owner is billed in the same currency. Rotenta’s customer ledger stamps every movement with its exchange rate and shows the balance with its TRY equivalent alongside it — from the proforma disbursement account to the final DA, you see on one screen which item is paid and which is still open.
Official documents in two languages
Most of what goes to the port authority, customs and the principal is expected in both Turkish and English. Rotenta produces these documents from letterhead templates, so getting a bilingual output from the same record does not mean preparing a second document by hand.
Who it is for
Built for agencies handling port calls, teams serving several principals at one port, and firms that run both the ship-side and the land-side operation together. Fleet operations run under a separate module; firms running both share the same customer and ledger core.
